A special thank you to the NC Transportation Museum for providing a four pack of tickets to the Day Out with Thomas event. All opinions are my own.
This past weekend, my family and I were given the privilege to attend a fun day at the Day Out with Thomas at the North Carolina Transportation Museum. From a fun train ride to activities, we had a day filled with family bonding and memory making!
After getting our tickets, my daughter spotted the little hay maze. Made just for the little ones, it's a small version of the adult mazes. She went in and out a few times.
After making our way through a winding trail of delicious smelling food, we visited the gift shop. I've never seen so many Thomas the Train themed merchandise items!
Next, we visited the museum areas. There are several areas at the NC Transportation Museum where kids can learn about the history of trains and transportation in general.
After our museum visits, we found an area where the kids could blow bubbles and draw with chalk.
We stopped and looked at the roundabout. We could have purchased tickets to ride on the roundabout for a $1.00 a piece, but my daughter didn't want to ride.
From there, it was getting close to our time to board Thomas the Train, so we made our way back to the boarding station.
And then it was time! Thomas rolled up right on schedule.
The hubby got a picture of use from our window.
Our train ride was awesome, and the little one even received a special certificate and a sticker.
Unfortunately, as soon as our train ride ended the bottom fell out of the sky. The rain set in and we didn't get to get our picture made with Thomas or Percy.
Our day out with Thomas was awesome! We are looking forward to next year!
